Talsarnau 1.5 miles. A delightful semi-detached property in a small residential cul-de-sac with views of open fields, countryside and hillside scenery with a far-reaching glimpse of Harlech Castle, in the little hamlet of Ynys, near the pretty village of Talsarnau, and only three miles from the historic castle town of Harlech. This cottage is extremely well presented and a great deal of care has been taken to ensure that all your needs are catered for and the attention to detail is apparent from the moment you step inside. This wonderful cottage offers spacious holiday accommodation and is a great base for families and friends wanting to explore North Wales and the Snowdonia National Park. Tastefully furnished throughout to a high standard, with a light and bright interior and a warming palette of soft creams and neutral tones with splashes of rich browns and autumnal colours create a wonderful ambience and a relaxing atmosphere. The sitting room is fresh and warm in its welcome, with comfy suede sofas providing enough seating for everyone and a warming, wall-mounted ‘living flame’ electric fire, perfect for those chillier evenings in front of the TV watching your favourite movie. The dining room is equally inviting and perfect for enjoying a romantic meal or family get-together and includes a modern and well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs, there are three spacious and stylish bedrooms, the main bedroom boasting a king-size double bed all serviced by a modern and up-to-date bathroom. The garden is lovely, with a side seating area of crushed slate, the perfect spot to enjoy your early morning cup of coffee, with steps leading down to the lawned garden which is enclosed and provides your own little oasis of peace where you can enjoy alfresco dining, relax with a good book, or enjoy a glass of wine late into the warm summer evenings. There is also a useful shed to store bikes. Close by is a children’s playground, perfect for the younger members of the family if they have any energy left after a day on the beach building sand castles! There are numerous walks from the cottages, take a steady stroll down to the estuary and enjoy the wonderful countryside views stretching across the Afon Glaslyn estuary to Portmeirion. If you’re seeking thrills and spills then head over to Blaenau Ffestiniog where you can enjoy all the activities at Llechwedd slate caverns, Zip World Titan (the largest zip zone in Europe), Zip World Caverns and Bounce Below (deep mine zip wires and the largest underground system of trampolines in the world!) are all located here. For something a little less energetic, the well-known Ffestiniog narrow gauge steam railway is close by and will be loved by all. The peaceful and tranquil beach at Harlech, just 3 miles away is one of the best in North Wales and you can often walk for miles along it without meeting a soul.
