Sledmere 0.3 miles. Call Out Cottage is a semi-detached cottage, part of what was previously the village fire station in Sledmere which served the Yorkshire Wolds. Providing comfortable and luxurious accommodation, with lovely views over open countryside and farmland, this property is a fantastic choice for those looking to explore both the East Coast and the rolling hills of the Wolds. The cottage has been luxuriously furnished to the highest of standards and has a spacious and light open plan living area which has been decorated with a fire engine colour scheme. For culture seekers, there's the added delight of the Hockney Trail, which encompasses the best of the Yorkshire Wolds. The seaside lies within half an hour's drive at Bridlington, a traditional seaside resort with golden sands, a pretty harbour and amusement arcades. Be sure to visit the windswept chalk cliffs of Flamborough and Bempton RSPB Reserve, which offer spectacular coastal views, and with York an easy drive, this property is well placed for a memorable holiday.
