From Bryn-Y-Mel, visit Bishop’s Palace which was the retreat of choice for medieval bishops seeking solace from the everyday stresses of Church and State. The medieval bishops of St Davids were worldly men who enjoyed the privileges of wealth, power and status. Lamphey did not disappoint. A palace fit for a queen...or at least the occasional bishop. Following Bishops Palace why not enjoy a romantic evening meal at Lamphey Hall with some of the finest local produce including fresh line caught sea bass and all in within walking distance. A five minute drive from Lamphey, you can enjoy a walk at Freshwater East or further along the coast you will stumble across the renowned walled town and beach of Tenby at a little under twenty minutes’ drive.
