Brook Farm

Situated in a peaceful rural location with a brook running past the edge of the garden and plenty of local walks to enjoy, the hamlet of Washbourne is just 1.5 miles from Harbertonford, with its handy shop/post office. The villages of Tuckenhay and Cornworthy are within 2 miles, both with popular pubs. Totnes, with its historic Fore Street lined with interesting shops, tea rooms and weekly Elizabethan market, is just a five mile drive away.

The lounge is a comfortable place to relax, with a feature fireplace and wood burning stove. A further snug leads off the hallway. Off the lounge is a small reading ‘nook’ with armchair. The dining room has a large wooden table and seating for eight, and leading off from the dining room is the kitchen with a five-ring burner Rangemaster range including oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A utility room by the side entrance houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.

Four bedrooms, all located on the first floor. The master bedroom suite is accessed through the en suite bathroom/dressing room and is furnished with a King-size bed. The en suite bathroom has a freestanding ‘claw and ball’ bath, double basins, w.c. Bedroom two has a King-size bed, with a window overlooking the garden and a en suite shower room leads off the bedroom. Bedroom three has two single beds, with a window overlooking the garden. Bedroom four is furnished with a double bed. In addition to the en suites is a family bathroom.

The large garden is mainly laid to lawn with shrubs and trees. To the side of the property is a patio with outdoor furniture. There is a brook that runs around the edge of the garden (fenced off).

Five-ring burner Range master range including oven, a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer. Two gravelled driveways provide ample parking for up to 2 cars. Baby friendly equipment is provided in the property. Gas central heating and hot water. All bed linen and towels are supplied (apart from beach towels). One well behaved dog allowed upon request.
