Detached 3 bedroom cottage situated on a small hill farm in Strathnairn, 10 miles from Inverness, 4.5 miles from the nearest supermarket and 5 miles from the A9. 

Accommodation Ground floor, Entrance Hall, Double bedroom with en-suite (shower, washbasin, WC) Family bathroom with shower over bath, WC and washbasin, Cosy lounge with 2 x 3 seater settees, television, DVD and CD players, wood burner effect electric fire, well equipped kitchen/ diner. Upstairs, landing, double bedroom and twin bedroom. Electricity and heating included in the price (storage heaters in kitchen, lounge and hall, fan heater in bathroom and convector heaters in bedrooms) Towels and bed linen provided, WiFi available

Pets are welcome ( maximum of 2) if they are used to sitting on the couches please bring extra throws with you. For the benefit of all guests pets are not allowed on the beds unless you bring your own linen and duvet.

Enclosed garden with furniture, barbecue available on request, parking for several cars. 

Loch Bunachton is 20 minutes walk away from the cottage through the forest, ideal for dog walking. Pike, perch and trout fishing is available to guests.

The cottage is ideally located for exploring the Highlands. Aviemore and the Cairngorm National Park is half an hour away. Drive through spectacular scenery to Fort Augustus, spot Nessie, visit Urquhart Castle. Culloden Battlefield, scene of the last pitched battle in Britain is just under 10 miles away. 

If you wish simple relaxation, Balnabodach offers you silence broken only by the sounds of birds and animals. During the day enjoy the scenery with its changing light patterns and at night, with little light pollution spend time star gazing.
