Nestled between the rivers Severn and Wye the idyllic Forest of Dean provides a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday with family or friends. This well-appointed beautifully renovated cottage has a gated entrance for our guests privacy leading into an enclosed garden with lawn area, a raised patio with seating and a coal BBQ and a private hot tub - perfect for star gazing after a day of exploring! We welcome up to 2 dogs with an enclosed garden, lawn area where it is safe to play and scenic walks from the doorstep. Dogs stay for free and we provide dog bowls, 'I'm on holiday' dog tag with our contact details on, blankets to snuggle up with, dog bags and a hand-made soft rope dog toy. We are a dog-friendly location with many walks to choose from, attractions to visit and places to eat. This beautifully renovated cottage sleeps six with two bathrooms. The kitchen diner is modern and stylish and is fully equipped for self-catering with everything you need. There is a breakfast bar with plugs and USB point should you need to set up your laptop. The kitchen is well lit with two sky lights and the dining area has subdued lighting. The highlight is the art installation in the fireplace. The Snug has three reclining chairs, a coffee table and a smart TV with all the channels. The highlight is the log burner that turns the cottage into a cosy haven. The Sunroom has lots of natural light. There is a reading chair with lamp, two comfortable sofas and a coffee table with board games and puzzles. There is a smart tv with Netflix etc. The french doors lead onto the patio and the private hot tub. Moments away there is a corner shop that sells all the basics and a dog friendly pub that serves food all within easy walking distance. The town of Cinderford is a 15 minute walk or a few minutes drive away where you can access supermarkets, coffee shops, takeaways and restaurants, some local shops and our highly recommended independent cinema. Woodland walks and popular attractions are within 5 - 30 minute drive. There are many walking routes and cycling trails. If your dog likes the water there is even an opportunity to go canoeing on the River Wye. You can explore miles and miles of woodland and discover caves, castles and more. It's the perfect place for a dog-friendly holiday with family or friends.
