Swanspool Veterinary Clinic

Founded in 1874, we are a long established independent RCVS Accredited practice with 9 dedicated small animal vets and 5 ambulatory equine and large animal vets. From routine consultations and operations to emergency treatment, we operate a 24 hour, 365 days a year professional service for our clients.

Here at Swanspool, we are proud to offer our own out of hour’s emergency service, so if our clients do need to see a vet out of normal surgery hours, they will see one of our own vets! Guaranteed!

We pride ourselves in continuing to work as a close knit team despite growing over 4 times over the past 15 years. Many of our vets are long standing, they have accumulated over 173 years veterinary experience between them with over 110 years of this experience at this practice alone!

We provide veterinary care for various local charities and often have fundraisers going on in practice raising money for these charities such as ‘Christmas Giving Trees’ quiz nights and bingo nights. We have raised over £1500 in the last year.

In March 2019 we were awarded the national award of ‘Best UK Vets’ by Vet Help Direct. This award was based on genuine pet owner reviews of veterinary practices around the United Kingdom. Swanspool received a huge 1102 positive four and five star reviews from our customers over the last year, putting us in first place and winning the national award. We received an award ceremony where the Local Wellingborough Mayor attended, the event was also covered by local media (including BBC news and BBC Radio Northampton).
