Here at Ruffmutz we believe relationship is key to building strong training foundations. We are here to get you off on the right foot with your new dog, and to help get you back on track if things have not quite gone to plan. Dog training We offer 1-2-1 in home dog training and behaviour support and offer several training options to suit your needs. We also offer bespoke dog training packages where our standard packages may not quite suit.-Puppy Training - We adore puppies and we specialise in puppy training, offering in home personalised training and group classes, as well as being home to the "Puppy Platinum" VIP first year of life Puppy package, designed to give you comprehensive support through your pups first year of life with you. We love working with you and your pup and hope to help give you the best start on your training journey, customising your sessions to set your pup up for life with you and your family, so you can enjoy life together. - Rescue and anxious dogs -Jemma has significant experience with anxious dogs, particularly rescues. Having worked within both the rescue and veterinary sectors, as well as volunteering for small independent rescues. Rescue is very close to my heart and I love to see dogs turned around, happy and settled in their new home. Building trust with anxious dogs is vital to begin to build confidence, so we use kind, realistic, reward based methods and go at your dogs pace. - Scentwork - I adore all things scentwork and think it can provide a fantastic outlet for some dogs natural instincts and drives. I offer 1-2-1 scentwork and tracking/trailing sessions and frequently incorporate elements of this into my training or behaviour packages to help provide mental enrichment and build confidence. I am also one half of Scent and Track UK. - Group classes and workshops- Throughout the year we offer a range of of classes and one off workshops..We do not have a training centre so all Ruffmutz 1-2-1 sessions are done in your own home or out and about in the local area depending what is needed for your dog. I am fully insured and dbs checked. I am also a member of the Pet Professional Guild British Isles, and a supporting member of the International association of animal behavior consultants.
