I still can’t quite believe I get to spend my days doing what I love most. Dogs have always been such a huge part of my life, and now I’m lucky enough to work with them every day, helping both dogs and their humans feel more confident, connected and understood. What I enjoy most about training is that it is never just about teaching a dog a skill. It is about building a relationship based on trust and communication, and finding ways to make life easier and more enjoyable for everyone involved. Whether I am helping someone train their assistance dog, guiding them through a one to one session, or giving their dog extra support on a walk and train, my aim is always the same: to create a positive, supportive space where progress feels achievable and rewarding. Assistance dog training is a special part of what I do. Watching a dog grow into a role that can make such a meaningful difference in someone’s daily life is an incredible experience. It takes patience, consistency and understanding, but the results are life changing for both the person and the dog. My one to one sessions are perfect if you would like focused support tailored to your dog’s unique needs. Every dog learns differently, so I take the time to find an approach that works for both of you. Walk and trains are another great option if you need a little extra help with training during the week. They give your dog a chance to learn and practice while out and about with me, and you can feel confident knowing they are in good hands. For me, this is more than just a job. It is a privilege to spend time with dogs every day and to see the difference that training can make in people’s lives.
