Carnie Runs

My name is louise forde I run Carnie Runs Canicross & Coaching. I am a qualified Canicross coach teaching beginners, improvers and 1-1 sessions in how to run with your dogs safely. Canicross is a fantastic sport that helps to build a bond with your dog whilst also promoting fitness and exercise for you both. I started canicrossing in 2017 with my own lurcher and it really helped get me through some of the hardest times in my life where I had hit a very low point. It’’s helped create a stronger bond between me and my dogs, helped with their reactivity (both are rescue dogs from bad pasts) and provided us with a great way to exercise together and give me some downtime and it’s a fantastic destress. This is why I began teaching others as especially during lockdown i saw so many people trying to combine their fitness and the dogs using in appropriate and hazardous kit and it made me really want to be able to show I could help them and put the dogs welfare at heart. So I’m 2021 I became a certified Canicross coach and then in 2022 I became a fully qualified coach. I am also fully qualified in canine first aid, fully insured for coaching and putting on social runs. I just love seeing the teams I teach learn to Canicross and develop 🥰and have made some life long friends from my classes
