Clarks Village, dog-friendly outlet shopping in the heart of Somerset.
Bring your dog with you for a day out at Clarks Village; expect outdoor shopping, wide paved walkways, stunning landscaped gardens, water bowls and a warm welcome throughout the outlet and in most of our brands PLUS our Pawsome Pooch dog event and perhaps even paw-shake from dog team member Dudley, our Canine Executive Officer!
Clarks Village was the UK’s very first purpose-built outlet, paving the way for a new era of shopping when it opened in 1993. Over three decades, the outlet has gone from strength to strength and now has more than 90 brands offering exclusive discounts of up to 60% off RRP from a stellar collection of designer brands and high street favourites. Dog lovers will be delighted to hear that WE LOVE DOGS! Clarks Village is an outdoor outlet with wide, paved walkways and stunning landscaped gardens making it an ideal location to bring your furry friend for a day out. As well as being able to enjoy the fresh air, dogs are also welcome inside most of our brands. And while you can enjoy an al fresco snack or lunch in our gardens, you and your well-behaved dog are also welcome to dine at selected cafes and restaurants. We love dogs so much, we even hold our own celebratory Pawsome Pooch event and have our very own Canine Executive Officer; Dudley the Hungarian Vizsla. Dudley won the coveted title in a public vote after entering a pet pawtrait competition at 2024’s Pawsome Pooch. The event saw free pet pampering, trick displays, have-a-go agility and trick sessions, pet sketches and a visit from the Guide Dogs charity for all of our guests and their four-legged companions. We also offered a complimentary photo shoot with a professional pet photographer giving everyone a gorgeous digital photo of their pup and the chance to be crowned Clarks Village’s Canine Executive Officer. The 10 top dogs were shortlisted for the Pawsome Pooch competition with the public voting on Clarks Village’s social media channels for their favourite to be crowned the winner. Dudley stormed into the lead and will take over from Bailey the whippet who won our last Pawsome Pooch event and has become a much-loved friend around the outlet. Dudley’s new role will include all things dog-related at Clarks Village from checking water bowls to being the dog ambassador at the outlet’s events. You may even bump into him when you visit to meet him yourself. Dog-friendly features at Clarks Village: • Dog water bowls throughout the outlet. • Wide paved walkways offering fresh air and plenty of space. • Lush green landscaped gardens to relax, explore and take a break. • Clarks Village’s annual Pawsome Pooch dog event. • A friendly welcome from the Clarks Village team – and possibly even from Dudley, the new Canine Executive Officer. As a family we love being able to take our four legged member with us for a family day of shopping and eating

I grew up in Street and have to say the village is better now than it's ever been. It is completely dog friendly and so clean! Even though there are loads of dogs that visit, I've never seen any mess anywhere. Could not recommend more.

Signs on the doors to show which shops allow dogs really helpful especially when on your own. Friendly staff happy to say hello and make a fuss of dogs.
