The Jinnie

The Jinnie Inn at Rolleston is a lovely old fashioned traditonal pub set in the lovely location of Rolleston-on-Dove, only 6 miles from Derby and 2 miles from Burton-on-Trent.

Cask Marque accredited beer accompanies wonderful home cooked food that is freshly cooked on the premises using only the best ingredients. In the summer months an outdoor wood fired pizza oven is lit and serves rustic hand stretched pizzas to your table.

The Jinnie Inn is housed in an attractive old farmhouse and served briefly as an alehouse in the mid nineteenth centry to the benefit the builders of the Burton to Tutbury railway, nicknamed the Tutbury Jinnie, after which the pub was named. The Jinnie Trail, the home of the former railway has been renovated in recent years and offers a good opportunity for a walk pre or post a trip to the pub. The beamed lounge bar welcomes dogs and houses a lovely woodburner for the winter months as well as the penny bar, inlaid with 4600 1p coins.

Food is served either in the bar or the restaurant from 12-2.30pm and 6pm -9.30pm Monday to Friday (no food Monday evenings) and 12-6pm on Sundays.
