Parr Fold Park Cafe

Located in the centre of Walkden, Parr Fold Park is a classic Victorian park with many traditional features such as landscaped gardens, mature trees and open lawns. The café is located in the park’s pavilion, adjacent to the tennis courts and the children’s play area. Serving hot and cold drinks, cakes and ice creams, it’s the perfect spot to stop this summer for some refreshments whilst visiting the park. The historic park is popular with locals and at the heart of the Walkden community. It is one of only two parks within Salford (along with Victoria Park) to have a bandstand, which was first built in 1935. Amongst the park’s other features include a memorial garden, tennis courts, outdoor gym, skate park and a children’s play area for 4-8 year-olds.
