The Lamppost Cafe is a family run, dog friendly cafe, situated on the Upper Newtownards Road. Inspired by the life and work of local legend CS Lewis, This homely and welcoming cafe is the hidden gem of East Belfast. All food is locally sourced from local businesses such as Corries meats, Mockfords Milk, 38 Espresso and The Bakehouse. The soundtrack is the 1930’s and everything is served on vintage crockery. Famous for its delicious coffee and cakes The Lamppost also offers breakfast, lunch and menu options to suit all dietary requirements, there is even a dedicated ‘Puppy Plates’ menu so you can treat your dog too. Situated just off the Connswater Community Greenway, The Lamppost Cafe is the perfect spot to rest and refuel if you are out exploring the Greenway.
