Ye Olde Fleece Inn

Ye Olde Fleece is well-known in the South Lakes area for being one of the oldest remaining pubs in Kendal. Recorded as being built in 1634 – a date which appears on the adjacent building and was part of the original inn. As you can imagine, the pub is full of rich history and character. We have a passion for what we put on your plate and are delighted to introduce a fresh new approach to pub food at the Fleece. Our investment in a completely new state-of-the-art kitchen is complemented by our team of professional chefs. The menu will be a moveable feast featuring the best seasonal produce sourced from suppliers across the region, including Lakes Speciality Foods, McClures, Momma's Foods and Cartmel Valley Game. We’ll feature a range of familiar pub classics, each recreated and cooked with the same care and attention to detail as everything else we do at Ye Olde Fleece Inn.
