This is a great pub by the canal at Buxworth basin, one end of the Peak Forest Canal and in the 18th Century the largest inland port in GB, allegedly.
The pub has a variety of real ales and being in the peak district attracts walkers of all ages. It is friendly and well run, serves meals and has a few B
