The Heron Stowbridge, situated in this beautiful and tranquil waterside location. Nestled between two rivers; The Great River Ouse on one side, and the man-made Relief Channel on the other. A favoured spot for locals, the pub attracts walkers and horse riders from local villages, and ramblers from farther afield. The pub is also only a short distance from Woodlakes Park, and approximately 4 miles from the market town of Downham Market. Both the North Norfolk Coastline and Thetford Forest Park are around half an hours drive away.

Dogs allowed in bar area and pool room, as well as the beer garden. Sky pictured in the pool room. Dogs often given treats. Lovely food. Nice location next to river, with lots of walkies opportunities along the river banks.
