If you are looking for an individual pub with great character, fantastic beer, delicious food and excellent service – look no further than The Barge Inn at Battlesbridge, a dog friendly pub and well behaved dogs are welcome in our beer garden and bar.
It’s the perfect place to enjoy our fantastic cask-conditioned Ales and craft beers. Offering an interesting range of bottled beers, craft ales and lagers from around the UK and across the world. We also serve an amazing and selection of 125- World speciality gins.
Whether you are looking for an excellent lunch, dinner, or a lighter dish or sharing plate, we have a very tempting menu, with delicious dishes using only the freshest ingredients, locally sourced whenever possible.
No great pub experience is complete without great people – and we pride ourselves in offering a truly excellent service. We have a well-motivated and experienced team both front of house, and in the kitchen. We are focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction – we will do everything we can to meet your expectations.

Soo dog friendly, whenever we arrive the digs are greeted by the staff who pet them and always have water for them!

They are always ensuring water bowls for dogs are freshly filled throughout the day. If dogs are in side they are always brining over dog water bowls for the to drink inside. Staff members are always asking if our dog is aloud some treats. They are always coming over to say hello to our dog and giving them lots of love
