Located just above Downderry Beach, the Inn on the Shore is family and dog friendly, offering a warm welcome to everyone.

Located just above Downderry Beach, the Inn on the Shore is family and dog friendly, offering a warm welcome to everyone. From our kitchen you can enjoy our delicious seasonal menu with something for everyone and every occasion. We have two dining areas; one with sliding doors to let the outside in and one with a large picture window looking out to sea. (Please note only one dining area is currently open with the other opening in August) Behind the bar we have a great range of local ales including our own beer ‘It’s a Shore Thing’, as well as a wide selection of exciting craft beers, refreshing lagers and fine wines. We have eight beautifully-refurbished en-suite letting rooms for you to stay in, all of which are dog friendly! Please call ahead if you would like to book with a dog.

Friendly sea front pub with a good menu, which welcomes dogs in the bar and eating area (but not the new restaurant extension so tell them you have a dog if you book a table). It sits high up on the cliff with steps down to the beach right next to it. The ideal spot to end a dog walk with a G&T and supper overlooking the sea. Plenty of outside space too. Dog biscuits at the bar.
