The Chatterbox

At The Chatterbox in Banchory we love to welcome our four-legged friends with their own bowl of water and some tasty treats. As a family café we offer freshly made sandwiches, snacks and home-made soups as well as a range of popular main meals which can all be ordered for take-away, but the highlight of The Chatterbox is the delightful array of cakes, pastries and home made goodies that you can enjoy with some great Caber coffee, a selection of teas or soft drinks (and as we are fully licensed, we also have a selection of bottled beers and wines available if you're just out for a walk). Wherever possible, we source our ingredients locally, both to support local business and reduce the environmental impact. All our take-away packaging is 100% bio-degradable or compostable so all we leave behind are happy memories! The Chatterbox is open 7 days a week, opening at 9:30am (11am on Sundays) until 5pm in summer or 4pm during the winter months (but always 5 pm on Saturdays!). The kitchen closes 1 hour earlier, so hot food is only available until 4pm in summer (3pm in winter).
