We look forward to welcoming you and your dog at The Cafe on the Green, a family-run eatery in the picturesque Dartmoor village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor.
Surrounded by stunning scenery and with ample parking, it's the perfect pitstop for humans and hounds before or after a walk in the National Park. Open daily from 10 am - 4.30 pm.
The Cafe on the Green has been proudly serving visitors to Widecombe-in-the-Moor for almost a century. We have it on very good authority that we were the first purpose-built tearoom on Dartmoor.
We are a family-run business serving freshly-cooked meals and refreshments all day, every day. Our food is lovingly prepared on the premises by owners Jamie and Becca and their growing team. We offer a warm welcome to riders, bikers, hikers, dog walkers and everyone else.
Widecombe is a favourite destination on Dartmoor. This unspoilt village is packed with history and home to the world-famous Widecombe Fair every September. It's also a great starting point to explore some of the most beautiful parts of the National Park.
We'd love you to stop by for a cuppa or a bite to eat with your dog (or dogs) before or after a walk on the moor!
