This is a wonderful and characterful place with lovely friendly staff and amazing, fresh home-cooked food ranging from hot drinks, cakes and scones to sandwiches and hot meals. We took our 2 Springer Spaniels into Baldrys with us this week; we were all made very welcome, the tables are nicely spaced so the dogs have room to lie down and we were given treats for our dogs. I highly recommend a visit here, the food is the best we’ve found in Grasmere and they’re very, very dog friendly.

Been in Baldrys several times always excellent food and very dog friendly. Have recommended it to friends. Lovely staff.
