2mm thick brass is MUCH thicker than most other tags on the market, consequently we can engrave deeply so your tag WILL LAST!

Brass is extremely durable and will not rust. Over time it will always develop a deep patina as it reacts with air and water in a natural process called oxidation. This patina does not damage the brass, which remains as strong and durable as ever. To maintain a high shine, brass can be polished regularly with a brass polish such as Brasso, or painted with a lacquer/varnish for a permanent fix. If you prefer the natural beauty of brass then let the patina develop, safe in the knowledge that the tag will always remain strong.
