Situated in the centre of Dorsets County Town, but with fabulous walks from the doorstep, Westwood House brings the best of town and country. Gorgeous "Hardy Country" is on our doorstep, with the Jurassic Coast and South West Coast Path, along with the Wessex Ridgeway just a short drive or bus away, its a dog walkers paradise.

Dorchester itself is exceptionally dog friendly, with many cafes and pubs allowing dogs.

Dorchester is also steeped in history from Neolithic hill forts, Roman Remains and Judge Jeffries to Dorsets brand new County Museum.

Westwood House is an attractive, Grade II listed Georgian Town House, built in 1815 by Lord Ilchesters builders, for a Solicitor and his family.

Converted to a town house guest house and personally run by resident owners Tom & Demelza Stevens, the accommodation offers a comfortable, informal, non-smoking environment for the business or leisure visitor during their stay in Dorchester.

The guest accommodation comprises of seven ensuite bedrooms all individually styled and furnished to give a high level of comfort. All are well equipped with modern facilities, including freeview televisions, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi.

A variety of restaurants, pubs and cafes are only a short stroll away from the house, as are many local attractions, beaches and shops.
