The West Arms Country Inn

The West Arms is set amongst the foothills of the Berwyn mountains which offers plenty of delightful walking routes for you and your beloved mutt. Set off right from the doorstep of our dog friendly country inn in North East Wales and enjoy reconnecting with mother nature. Return to the West for a spot of delicious lunch and a refreshing drink with your best friend by your side. Jasper and Sam will be ready to greet you and your wet nosed companion on arrival and help you sniff out all the best walks from the doorstep of the inn. The world-famous Snowdonia National Park, Chirk and Powis castles, the picturesque town of Llangollen and Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall are just some of the many local attractions on offer for endless walks with your dog. Choose from one of 16 individually designed characterful dog friendly bedrooms, some featuring traditional brass or even four-poster beds. Soak up the heritage of a 16th-century country inn, admire the original oak beams, and after a great night’s sleep look forward to a hearty and delicious Welsh breakfast. Up to two dogs can stay at the West Arms at a cost of £10 per dog per night. The only place the doggies can’t access is the main restaurant, but they can join you if you eat in the bar area, outside in the spacious beer garden or if you decide to kick back in front of a roaring fire in the garden room.
