Contemporary and stylish, in a converted Victorian school, The School House B&B offers you a choice of three cosy & delightful individual rooms. One room, Brineddin, has its own lounge. The Caradoc room has a high vaulted ceiling and feature windows. The en-suite in this room also has a deep double-ended bath. The ground floor room, Redlake, has a private entrance and we allow guests in this room to bring a dog with them. Along with views of the beautiful hills each of the rooms has a large comfy bed made up with sumptuous Egyptian cotton linens. The en-suites have powerful showers with fluffy white towels and bathrobes.

Within your clean and spacious room you will also find a sofa and flat screen TV together with a tea-tray containing a selection of teas, coffees and some nibbles. Fresh milk and local water will be in the silent fridge where you can store other drinks. Wine glasses are provided.

We aim to make your breakfast an enjoyable experience. Granola, bread, preserves and vegetarian sausages are among the homemade items. Our egg and honey suppliers are just along the valley in Bucknell. Your tasty bacon and sausage will be from local high quality butchers.

Set in a quiet area of the Shropshire Hills you will be close to the food lovers town of Ludlow. The medieval town has many unusual independent shops displaying much of the areas high quality local produce. Ironbridge and Church Stretton are other towns well worth exploring.

You will also be close to some splendid walking areas such as The Long Mynd, The Stiperstones and Wenlock Edge. In the map room you will find details of these and walks that can be done from our front door.

The National Trust own several attractions nearby such as Croft Castle, Powis Castle and Attingham Park. As well as the historic properties there are the extensive grounds to explore.
