The Richard Onslow

Here at the Richard Onslow, some of our dog friendly rooms overlook the hustle and bustle of the high street, others have a view over our sunny patio hidden away at the back of the pub. We have doubles with king-size beds, twins and family rooms. There’s even a box room if you just want somewhere cosy to hole up for the night, plus a fully accessible double room on the ground floor.

All of our rooms have really comfy beds, great linen, power showers and lovely toiletries, as well as mod cons like flat-screen TV with Freeview, free WiFi and tea and coffee-making equipment. Regular, stranger or four-legged friend, we promise you a warm welcome.

Our menu changes with the seasons, and we work with British farmers and producers who share our values. Quality ingredients, with provenance, as that's what we want to eat and drink ourselves.

When we serve meat, we only serve ethical and sustainable produce. Always free-range and reared with care. Eating well and sustainably doesn’t have to mean sacrificing pleasure in our food.

We have lots of delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes, each one full of the good stuff. We're unashamedly flexitarian - our plant-based choices are interesting in flavour, and good for the environment too
