Fantastic hotel and great location on the West Coast of Scotland. Beautiful surroundings with loads of onsite activities and a gorgeous new spa. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon!

Lovely staff and brilliant food. Good choice for walks nearby and hotel caters well for dogs- we were given treats, towels and dog bowls for our pup.
Hope to try their other dog friendly hotel, The Waterside soon

We visited the Gailes mid September and it was by far the most dog friendly hotel we have stayed in! When we arrived the lovely receptionist spoke through the facilities the hotel had to offer and all the extras they had for our pup, Luna.
The bedroom offered a dog matt with a bowl of water and a bowl for food (which had 4 treats for Luna!). We were also given a map of the hotel which showed areas where we could take the dog and areas which were restricted, which stopped any crossed wires! The map also showed us some lovely local walking routes where we got some great pics!. When we came back from our walk we had access to the 'mucky paws towel station' where a lovely beach towel was waiting to dry her paws. Extra poop bags were available too in case we ran out!.
For dining options, we had access to both restaurants in the resort, one within the hotel (Zest) and one in the leisure coffee shop & sport's Lounge (GG's) in a dedicated dog area. Each menu had a great offering and both venues were very reasonably priced. There were tons of activities to do as well, including golf (both a TopTracer driving range and a golf course), a very well equipped gym and spa facilities in the beautifully, newly refurbished Si! Spa. My friends have already booked with us to return next month for another staycay, can't wait!
