The Charterhouse is ideal for our 4 legged friends. We are 150 yards from the all year round dog friendly Livermead Sands beach and 50 yards only from The Water meadows leading to Cockington Village. We have 8 en-suite bedrooms 4 of which are dog friendly. 2 of our dog friendly rooms have direct access to our large gardens where dogs are welcome.
The Charterhouse West Country Breakfast is available daily, using local produce whenever possible. (We are proud to source the best quality ingredients and local produce). Vegetarian/ vegan & gluten free options are available on request.
Restaurants and dog friendly pubs are within walking distance.
In Cockington Lane and undeniably positioned in one of the most beautiful parts of Torquay, Devon. A Tranquil walk through the Water Meadows will take you to the historic Saxon Village of Cockington and its Country Park or a level walk along the sea front into Torquay. Peace and relaxation or the buzz of the town – the choice is yours.
