Springkell is a 14 bedroomed family run hotel. Nestled in the Scottish countryside it offers that home away from home with a touch of luxury.
A quite stunning Palladian Mansion dating from 1734 with the West and East Wings built in 1818. Recently refurbished with over £2 million spent the house with it's 14 bedrooms is available for accommodation, Weddings and Events. Just 2 miles from the M74 Springkell is private and peaceful with the only noise being generated by our guests or resident wildlife. We have our own Chef who cooks delicious food from full Scottish Breakfasts to Wedding/Event meals for 100 guests. Springkell has it's own fully stocked Lion Bar with over 30 whiskeys, West 4, Guinness, Black Sheep and Thatchers Cider on draught/tap. Whether it's a stay as you move from A to B or a special gathering we will look after you and ensure that you have a Five Star stay with us and that Springkell remains 'Forever In Your Heart'

Our main house bedrooms are beautiful, tasteful and peaceful, seven of which enjoy Emperor beds. So, whether it's an overnight stay for work or a romantic getaway we've got you covered. Nestled deep in the Scottish countryside, Springkell is surrounded by maintained gardens and woodland, which offer plenty of choice for those walks with your furry friends.
Our Lion Bar is perfect for a big celebration, or just a quiet drink with someone. We have stunning formal rooms, with many activities we can organise for you. We will happily help you with any event you would like to put on, or even if it's just a few people staying the night - we will help make your stay here perfect.
We also have two 2 bedroomed cottages within the grounds, these both have one double and one twin room. The kitchens are fully equipped with BOSCH appliances including a dishwasher. The sitting room has TV, DVD player and Hi-fi with MP3 connectivity. Each cottages also benefits from a utility room and parking.
Located just two miles from the M74, on the Scottish border, we are easily accessible for travellers or tourists alike. We are a short drive from Gretna Green and approximately 1 hour from the Lake District. There is plenty to choose from in the local area from Clay Pigeon Shooting, Mountain Biking, Golf, Walking, Bird Watching, Mini Highland Games, Kayaking and Outdoor Adventure Climbing.
