Good basic hotel that allows dogs. £10 extra per night. This seemed at odds with the option in the room to 'GoGreen' by putting a card on the outside door knob to ask the staff not to clean the room, change towels, etc. If the hotel is offering a 'no clean' green option then surely the incentive would be to waive the charge for the extra deep clean for having a dog on all night except the LAST NIGHT when one deep clean could be done. Dogs were also not allowed in the breakfast bar area, but breakfast (not included in room rate) could be served on the sofa next to the reception desk. I opted for breakfast at the local Dobbies Garden Centre instead. Hotel staff were very friendly towards our dog, which was a plus. We were put in a room on the first floor which was odd as normally hotels that tale dogs do so on the ground floor. Overall and enjoyable 2-night stay.
