Dog Friendly B&B - Craig y Nos Castle in South Wales. 

Craig y Nos Castle is a dog friendly Hotel & B&B within Brecon Beacons National Park - choc-full of unique and unusual things to do, stunning Attractions such as the Welsh Show Caves and Henrhyd Waterfalls, peaceful places to walk and cycle off-road, rugged scenery, tracks and lanes at Heol Senni over to Brecon Beacons Mountain Centre. 

Plenty of gardens and informal long grassy areas where your dogs can run freely and for ‘comfort breaks’ outside your bedroom door.  

All well fenced in affording lots of opportunity for dogs with good recall to be let off the lead for a jolly good run.

Craig y Nos Country Park has 40 acres of woodland paths and open fields and meadows.

Walk down into a welcoming dog friendly Country Park with woodland paths and off the lead open fields for dogs to explore. The shallow waters of the River Tawe run throgh the country park and in summer are cool and clear and safe for a paddle. 

No need to take your car. Just walk down the paths behind the castle directly into the neighbouring Country Park. Though it closes 5 pm, Castle guests can access the Country Park late into the evenings, via the paths from Theatre Gardens.

Nearby we have a number of dog friendly walking areas, waterfalls, and circular reservoir walks (we are a short country lane's drive from Usk Reservoir and 5 minutes or so from Henrhyd Waterfalls). Excellent real ale Pubs in our area too - 5 within a mile or two's drive from castle. 

Relax in the Dog Friendly Nicolini lounge or in our Dog Friendly Bar after a long walk or day out with your furry companions.

For rainy days, you can keep fit in our Sports Room. Lots of treadmills with a view, exercise bikes, weights equipment.

Just 500 Yards or so north of the Castle, we have the National Showcaves of Wales. Dan yr Ogof Caves. Open in Summer Months. Well worth a visit and not weather dependent, as you are deep underground in huge caves.

At the Castle only humans pay for their accommodation. Dogs stay free!
