Having undergone extensive refurbishment and renovation work over recent years, it is our obligation to maintain the high standards that we believe we have achieved. All of our spacious bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are tastefully decorated and furnished with the highest standards in mind. The en-suites all have modern appliances and pressurised, thermostatic showers.

We offer a varied and tasty breakfast which can be served in either the breakfast room, or on the terrace/in the garden if you prefer - all of which offer fabulous sea views.

Situated within the heart of Stoke Fleming, we are only a short walk away from all the local amenities to include the beach at Blackpool Sands (and the Venus cafe and restaurant, plus shop), the Green Dragon Village Inn, the Radius 7 Restaurant and Bar, and the Stoke Fleming Village Shop and Post Office. (Please be advised that the beach at Blackpool Sands does operate seasonal dog restrictions, but we are still spoilt for dog-friendly alternatives within the locality).

During your stay with us, if there is anything that you have forgotten ( or indeed, anything that you think that we have forgotten), we sincerely hope that you will ask. Until then, we will leave you with a little 'dog's tail'...

A man sees a sign outside a house: 'Talking Dog For Sale.' He rings the bell, the owner appears and tells him the dog can be viewed in the back garden. The man sees a very nice looking Labrador Retriever sitting there.

‘Do you really talk?’ He asks the dog.’Yes,’ the Labrador replies. After recovering from the shock of hearing the dog talk, the man asks. ‘So, what's your story?’

The Labrador looks up and says, ‘Well... I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. Realising that the government needed my help, I joined the SAS. In no time at all I was jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders because no one imagined for one minute that a dog would be eavesdropping. I was one of their most valuable spies for seven years. But the responsibility really tired me out and so I decided to settle down. I signed up for a job at Gatwick Airport doing undercover security work, listening in on conversations between suspicious characters. I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded several medals. I got married, had a few puppies, and now I'm retired.

The man is amazed. He goes back into the house and asks the owner how much he wants for the dog.’Ten quid,’ the owner replies.

‘Ten pounds??,’ he declares. ‘But this dog is absolutely amazing! Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?’

‘Because he's a lying git. He's never been out of the garden!!’
