Carlton Lodge - Helmsley
Our friendly Yorkshire bed and breakfast accommodation, with 8 lovely rooms, is located in Helmsley in the spectacular North York Moors National Park.Read More
Located in the North York Moors National Park, Carlton Lodge enjoys one of the most beautiful settings in Yorkshire. The pretty market town of Helmsley has a number of dog friendly cafes, and pubs, so you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out. We have two ground floor en-suite bedrooms, where dogs are welcome, and plenty of countryside walks right on our doorstep.
We strive to offer everyone a warm welcome and that extends to our 4-legged guests too. Your dog is welcome in the garden, and your room, however we are unable to allow them in the breakfast room. We do offer reservations on a room-only basis, in case you prefer to enjoy breakfast in one of the dog-friendly local cafes. We charge £10.00 per night per dog and have an outside tap and towels at the front entrance for cleaning muddy paws. We can also provide a blanket if you forget the doggy bed.
Why not enjoy a day on the magnificent Cleveland Way to Rievaulx Abbey or stroll along the Tabular Hills with your dog by your side? Helmsley has a dog friendly walled garden and the beautiful grounds of Duncombe Park offer both river and countryside walks.
