The Hamiltons
The Hamilton Hostel, located in Fishguard used to be the town's first free school. The building, which is 180 years old, has been stylishly converted, retaining its exposed beams and sloping roof, which add to its immense character.

Interestingly, the town was the site of "the last British invasion," which remains the case to this day. The papers pertaining to the surrender were signed in the Royal Oak, a historic establishment that still stands in Fishguard.
