Sandaway Beach Holiday Park

Enjoy being right on the doorstep of many iconic beaches, perfect for exploring with your dog - including your own private cove on-park!

Sandaway Beach Holiday Park stands on a cliff's edge at the very edge of the ocean with breath-taking sea views. A stepped path leads you to Sandaway's private 'Mermaid's Cove' beach. The cove has a rocky foreshore and sprinkling of sand and is the perfect spot for fishing in rock pools while your dog splashes in the sea and Mum and Dad sit back and enjoy a haven of peace and quiet. Spot the passing boats and maybe even a dolphin if you're lucky! Return from the beach and take a dip in our superb outdoor swimming pool with toddler's area or relax with a drink and something to eat in our Smuggler's Bar and take in the incredible views. In this setting, you'll soon find the daily pressures melt away. Your pooch can also enjoy a good run around in our dog exercise field, which boasts some incredible views. Just a 10 mile drive (or walk along the dramatic Coastal Path for the more active) are the picturesque villages of Lynton and Lynmouth linked by cliff railway. You'll be amazed by the views from the Valley of Rocks or you can explore Exmoor - why not see if you can spot a deer or an Exmoor pony! Combe Martin is a traditional seaside village with gift shops, fish and chip takeaways, pubs and cafes. It also has two beaches and there are plenty of water activities including wild swimming, sea kayaking, and paddle boarding. You are within easy reach of some of the most beautiful parts of the North Devon coastline including the fantastic beaches at Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton and the park itself directly links to the South West Coastal path, so you can follow the coast around through Watermouth into Ilfracombe or venture out through Lorna Doone country to Lynton and Lynmouth. There are a range of visitor attractions on the doorstep including Exmoor Zoo, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Watermouth Castle, Arlington Court and a little further afield you have The Big Sheep which is a great family day out. For many people though, the charm of Combe Martin lies within the raw beauty of the area where rolling hills meet dramatic cliffs as the sea melts into the horizon. Please note this is a hilly park and may be unsuitable for wheelchair users or guests with mobility requirements. Please call us to discuss your requirements. We have now teamed up with Surfside Kayak Hire offering our guests a hassle free way to book kayaking activities directly at reception, make the most of being on holiday on the North Devon Coast. *Charges Apply* We have a great choice of accommodation at Sandaway Beach Holiday Park including caravans, chalets and apartments with a selection being pet-friendly. Many of our caravans have great views either out to sea or across the open countryside. Our caravans are graded from value through to platinum and are available in one, two and three bedroom models. We also have hot tub caravans available. Our touring field is at the centre of the park with stunning countryside views. All pitches are on grass.
