Come and explore one of the Midland’s most well-known forests! With activity trails, play areas, bike hire, wild running and mountain biking trails, Sherwood Pines will set the scene for a great day out for all.
Get back to basics on one of our bushcraft experiences or soar through the trees on Go Ape’s famous zip wires. If you are feeling a bit peckish after adventuring around the forest, drop in to the Sherwood Pines Café for a range of locally sourced snacks.

Great place to walk the dogs off lead.
Good facilities, café toilets. For the more adventurous there is go ape, bike hire and sedgeway hire. Lots of trails and well maintained. Beautiful forest.One of my favourite haunts

Not only is it the best forest in England where the rangers ensure the trees, plants and wildlife are cared for, the walks are stunning and it's a slice of well being for myself and my dog after a busy work life as a key worker. I can't thank Forestry England enough for cultivating and maintaining this forest. A perfect part of England for my dog to run around in safety and complete happiness.
