Knightswood Welly Walks

This incredible place is home to three beautiful dog walks. The Welly Walks: Kingfisher's Rest, Lillypond Meadows and Major Oaks. The owners have poured so much thought and effort in to providing large, natural walking areas for dogs. They are all really good sizes that take time to walk around. Each one has loads of natural trees, water areas, eg a lake, ponds and streams. There are covered areas with natural ancient woodland, open areas with natural grass and plants. I particularly love that each walk is well separated from the other, with large spaces between each and plenty of tall screening, so you're not bothered by other dogs and walkers. They have provided safe areas for dogs to enter and exit water areas and graveled paths, which are particularly welcome over winter. Each walk has various areas where seating has been provided with wooden benches or picnic tables. There are no hills involved, so great for people like me with limited mobility. I love that you drive into the start of the walks where you park your car and close the large metal gates behind you, which adds to the safety for your dog/s and any children. There is also a cleaning area near where you park, to wash your dog off at the end of the walk. There is a toilet on the premises if needed. My dogs always have the BEST time on these walks and they are by far THE BEST walks in Cornwall and we've tried so many of them!
