My assistant Tess, watching on as I photograph another dog :-)
Craig Cantwell Photography
Dog just love my Pet Portrait Experience which is a 2hr location and studio photo shoot at my base here in Glamis, Angus. I have 6 acres of ground, a brand new Pet Studio and have access to woodland, open fields and a secure area for those whose Pets require it. Your dog will have a fantastic time and you will have images to cherish of your four legged companion. I absolutely love dogs and have a Border Collie Rescue who is my assistant. She is getting on in years but Tess has been by my side for 12 years now and she loves helping out. I also do pop up charity events for local shelters raising much needed funds for them.Read More
There are plenty of Professional Photographers who will photograph your dog, however I am one of the few dedicated Pet Photographers in Scotland and I just LOVE my job. That shows through in the images I create and your pet's personality also shines through.
I am a member of The Guild of Professional Photographers, have a valid Canine First Aid Qualification and am about ti undertake animal behaviour training.
There are more and more offering to photograph pets but like any genre of photography, you are better using a photographer who specialises in their chosen field. I wouldn't ask any of my Pet Photographer colleagues to photograph a wedding as, although they could do a very good job, a Wedding Photographer would undoubtedly do a much better job.
Pet Photographers understand canine behaviour and how to interact with dogs of all shapes, sizes, abilities and breeds. This makes for more fun for your dog and ultimately results in better images for you.
Pet Portrait Experiences start from as little as £75* for up to a 2 hour shoot and you will receive a viewing gallery, a 10" x8" Print and 6 x digital images for use on social media.
Each session is tailored to the needs of each dog/pack, whether they be puppies, elderly or infirm, I can tailor the session to the needs of you and your beloved pets.
If you are interested in accessing my services, please do get in touch and we can discuss your requirements.
You and your dog(s) will have a fantastic time and have quality images to cherish.
"Your ability to bond with the dogs as quickly as you do brings out the best in them and together with your creativity and technical skills, I'm not surprised at the results ?" - Susan McLennan
*£5 per extra dog
Rory Mackintosh, October 2020
Craig goes out of his way to ensure dogs are looked after. He is like a dog whisperer and wins even the most timid of dogs over in a matter of minutes. Craig raises £1000's for dog charities every year which he doesn't advertise or talk about and he will also visit a hom ein the middle of the night to do a legacy session. My dog recently passed and I received a lovey card and photograph from Craig. I have no idea how he found out my dog passed but it was a very emotional moment when I opened the package and saw my beautiful baby's photograph. This man is honourable, his prices are affordable and just loves and adores dogs.
