No matter the season, the grounds and gardens at Chawton House offer something beautiful for you and your dog to explore and enjoy. Marvel at the delicate snowdrops and beautiful bluebells in Spring before exploring the sweet-smelling roses in the midst of Summer. Take in the deep reds and oranges of Autumn in the Wilderness and the undisturbed views across the parkland in the depths of Winter. Looking for a longer walk? Why not enjoy one of our wider estate walks across the parkland surrounding Chawton House? Enjoy views of the House as you walk and maybe even stop for a picnic. For those walking the parkland with children, we have worksheets and trails available to download on our website to help keep little ones entertained as you explore. Sit down and enjoy something tasty in our Courtyard Tearoom or get something to take away from our Tea Shed. Dogs are welcome in all outdoor spaces, including our Courtyard Tearoom. We do ask that dogs are kept on leads when visiting Chawton House and the wider estate.
