Castle Howard Gardens
The Castle Howard gardens and park are breathtaking throughout the seasons and, with many diverse areas to explore, you can find peace and tranquillity whichever path they choose.
Joanne, February 2020
The grounds, walled garden and café all dog friendly. Dogs not allowed in the splendid house, obviously, but it didn't matter as there was lots to explore outside . Woods (muddy puddles included! ) lakes and splendid grounds with scenic views. Toby the Cocker spaniel had a great time. The café looked lovely but we didn't go in as Toby was a bit soggy after a dip in the lake! The garden centre outside is dog friendly too...he even got a treat.! Top doggie day out we loved it.
