Top UK dog-friendly festival - 5 on the Farm at Cannon Hall Farm YorkshireRead More
Dog lovers looking to enjoy a canine-friendly UK staycation or memorable day-trip will be delighted to learn that the first ever ‘5 on the Farm Festival’ is confirmed to go ahead this August Bank Holiday in Yorkshire.
Tipped to be the most dog-friendly festival in the UK, over 30,000 people are expected over the August Bank Holiday event, taking place at Cannon Hall Farm, home of Channel 5’s This Week on the Farm series.
As well as Ben Fogle, TV farmer Adam Henson, Amanda Owen and the Yorkshire Vets, fans of the ‘Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly TV show can get to see the Dogfather himself Graeme Hall in action as he takes to the main stage.
Graeme said: “I’m really excited to share my dog training tips. If you are a dog lover, this is the perfect day out or weekend - there’s stacks of shows and loads of activities too.”
Organisers behind the festival are prioritising dog welfare and have made special provisions at the event, with all breeds, sizes and types of dogs welcome.
There will be a designated Dog Trail within the event ground’s Farmyard area and dogs are welcomed within the majority of the site with the exception of the children’s Milkshake Meadow.
There will be lots of water points around the site, complimentary poop bags, shaded areas for dogs and their human companions and importantly, dogs are welcome within the Village Green Pub!
There’s also lots of treats to be had with dog-friendly stalls selling pup-cakes, doggy treats, doggy accessories and toys.
Visitors can also enter their dog into the festival’s dog show and win prizes!
