Sarn 1.3 miles. A beautiful, 17th century, detached, black and white timber-framed country house, situated next to the owner’s barn conversion home and stables, amidst 12 acres of land and only 1.3 miles from the rural village of Sarn. This wonderful property provides high-quality, character accommodation which includes a wealth of exposed oak beams, trusses and wall timbers as well as boasting all modern facilities which include a heated, outdoor swimming pool open all year round, a sauna and a six-seater hot tub. Set over three floors, this lovely Churchstoke cottage has two charming second floor twin bedrooms and four first floor romantic bedrooms, two with excellent en-suites, one with an all-body jet shower, and all with TV, DVD and full Sky Multiroom. The delightful kitchen has a range cooker and large breakfast table and is very well equipped, the formal dining room is atmospheric and perfect for enjoying family meals, whilst the two sitting rooms, one with an impressive inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove, both have a large TV and are ideal for relaxing. Outside this Sarn cottage is a large front lawn with fenced off pond, which is home to peacocks and geese, whilst the lovely rear garden boasts a large lawn and patio, housing the large outdoor heated swimming pool and the spacious changing room with 5-seat sauna, shower and WC. There's also a hot tub, meaning this outdoor leisure area will provide hours of family fun and relaxation and is perfect for unwinding after an exciting day out discovering this beautiful region, which is known as the Border Lands. The area surrounding this Sarn cottage is extremely rural, with vast open landscapes and the whole area provides excellent walking, cycling and mountain biking, with Offa’s Dyke, the Kerry Rideway, and Clun Forest nearby. Enjoy trips to delightful Montgomery, Bishop’s Castle, Church Stretton, medieval Ludlow and even the beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay.
