West Malling Manor is the archetypally elegant, sumptuously-proportioned English country home; artfully unpretentious with a lived-in charm, this home is bursting with character, design panache and glorious eccentricity! Far from being a sterile or post-modernist home, the Manor has an intriguing history among the British aristocracy and carries the legacy of generations of colourful family life. 

Nestled in the gentle Kent countryside, this romantic home stands imperially within its own magnificent and varied gardens - it is an uncomplicated yet stylish home with a handsome, pastel facade. The interiors are lavish, offering ornate features and rich adornments, including gilded mirrors, oil paintings, antiques, solid timber and original fireplaces. Guests will enjoy a wonderful family kitchen which offers a relaxed, farmhouse-style ambience, ideally executed for large family groups to be able to enjoy sociable and informal dining. Imagine sitting enjoying a long and lazy breakfast as the sun pours in, enjoying fresh bread and coffee after a morning swim! There is a huge wooden topped central island and breakfast bar, top-range appliances and fittings for effortless self-catering, and a dining table for ten. The pretty dresser with porcelain tea set and antique roll-top desk in the corner add charming touches. The living space showcases beautiful original architecture in an elegant, pastel-toned living room, punctuated with bright florals, offering a blend of contemporary and traditional touches. The huge bay windows and grand piano add a regal air, whilst guests will enjoy the stunning orangery-style conservatory, with pale jade toned wrought iron benches and an explosion of plants and flowers. Younger guests will enjoy the fabulous attic games room, with its sloping ceilings and dark green panelled walls, this space offers a snooker table and home cinema with projector; an ideal spot for curling up at the end of a busy day in the rambling gardens. For more sedate meals, there is a formal dining room which is breath-taking in its opulence and grown-up glamour; adorned with chandelier, candelabras and sumptuous sophisticated dark tones and polished furniture - this is a suave and chic space for lively discussions over long meals! A separate snug offers dark olive coloured walls, offset by polished brass, gold, warm timber bookshelves and rich salmon and scarlet toned fabrics and silks; this room is brimming with books and low-key refinement.

West Malling Manor can accommodate fourteen guests across seven bedrooms, each finished with understated luxury and unique touches. The master suite is a sedate powder blue, with an original fireplace, soft dove greys and solid mahogany and teak antique furnishings. Each bedroom has its own quirky features, they are generously executed as civilised spaces to provide refinement, reading space, window seats, writing desks and scope for tranquillity and seclusion as well as rest. Each room has its own individual character whether it be bright florals, tactile fabrics, four poster bed or candy tones!

The gardens comprise both elegant lawns and well-maintained Italian garden as well as rambling overgrowth. There is a Tuscan feel to the elegant terraces, adorned with potted terracotta plants, stone walls and sleek French windows. A sweeping tree-lined entrance and expansive lawns leading to a beautiful private lake add an air of mystery to this historically intriguing home! Guests will enjoy wonderful meals al fresco beside the glistening pool or exploring the myriad of pathways framed by fragrantly blossoming plants and charming overgrowth.
