For the narrow boat experience, take a trip on the Mercia Swan, visit Chrissy’s Gift Boat or enjoy afternoon tea on The Boat Street Café. From the marina, there are beautiful towpath walks along the Trent and Mersey canal. The local village of Willington is a 15 min stroll up the canal. Here you will find pubs, restaurants, shops, take aways and Willington railway station. A little further afield, you’ll find the breath-taking views and quaint market towns of the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales. Many different National Trust Properties, such as Calke Abbey, Kedleston Hall and Sudbury are not far away. The National Memorial Arboretum and Alton Towers are nearby too.
