Ty Cerrig

Ty Cerrig is a detached stone cottage perfectly situated on a quiet country lane in the small village of Gwalchmai. The village is just under five miles from the coast (10 minutes' drive) with the nearest beaches being at Aberffraw and Rhosneigr (both dog-friendly, sandy and accessible throughout the year). Easy to reach, Ty Cerrig (which means ’stone house’ ) sleeps 6 (3 bedrooms) and provides the perfect homely base for exploring Anglesey. This multi-dog-friendly cottage has a large well-equipped kitchen diner plus separate dining or work space. The spacious lounge has a huge log burner, ideal for cosy afternoons and cooler evenings. A feature cast iron spiral staircase leads to the first floor. There are three bedrooms, all of which overlook fields at the front of the house. There is a large master bedroom (dual aspect) with a king size bed, en suite and walk in wardrobe. There are two smaller bedrooms - one with a king size bed and the other with a twin (adult size beds). Both bathrooms have walk-in showers and the main bathroom has a freestanding bath. There is also a ground floor toilet in the utility room. 

For younger guests there is a travel cot, fixed stair gate (top and bottom of stairs), fire guard and high chair. 

There is off-road parking for two cars and the drive is gated and so you can load/unload the car without worrying. There is a small charge for dogs, all of which is donated to two dog charities.

Dogs are welcomed, not just tolerated. They're part of the family and so it's important to me that they will be safe, secure and happy at Ty Cerrig. There is an outdoor warm water dog wash station for sandy paws, lots of dog towels and throws plus a welcoming dog treat on arrival (humans get one too!). There is a large enclosed garden and patio (the majority of fencing is up and over timber fencing 6'+. The lowest section is approximately 4ft, although this is wide and there is a visible drop on the other side). Dogs are allowed throughout the house, I just ask that if you want them to sleep in the bedrooms/on the bed, you bring your own bedding (dog hair is impossible to remove!). There are plenty of bowls, throws and towels provided so you don't have to worry about bringing them with you.
