Beautiful, detached stone cottage with a large fully enclosed garden and patio area, situated on a quiet country lane on the edge of a village. This well-equipped cottage sleeps 6 (3 bedrooms) with a spacious kitchen/diner and log burner for cooler evenings. Just five miles from dog friendly beaches (Aberffraw and Rhosneigr), Ty Cerrig is perfectly located to explore the magical island of Anglesey.

The village is approximately five miles from the coast with the nearest beaches being at Aberffraw and Rhosneigr (both dog-friendly and sandy). Easy to reach and a superb retreat, Ty Cerrig (which means ’stone house’ ) provides the perfect homely base for a break.
This dog-friendly cottage is ideally located for you and your four-legged friend to explore the beautiful local beaches, the Anglesey Coastal path and the stunning countryside. The cottage sleeps 6, with two king size beds (the master bedroom has an en suite) and one twin room. A travel cot, stair gate and high chair are also available. There is an outside tap for muddy paws, a pet gate (internal), lots of dog towels and throws put a welcoming dog treat on arrival (humans get one too!).

I’ve never been to Anglesey before, but a friend recommended I look up Ty Cerrig on the back of his recent visit.
I have 3 dogs and it’s sometimes a bit of an issue trying to find locations that will put us up. Not the case with Ty Cerrig. Sarra could not have been more friendly, communicative and welcoming. Being a dog owner herself she knows exactly what other owners need when they’re on their travels. There’s comfortable spaces, doggy blankets, treats and of course a wonderfully big garden with plenty of space for my dogs to run around and play. After a busy day of larking around the garden, we had the added bonus of relaxing in front of the log burner. We didn’t hear a peep from the dogs all nights who were lazing away in front of it.
The location is fantastic. There is a shop only moments away so you can never run short of anything, but more importantly only a very short distance away are dog friendly beaches, I particularly liked Aberffraw. Miles of mainly deserted beach meant many hours of fun not just for the dogs but for us too.
Sarra has put a lot of thought into what makes this location perfect for dog owners. She’s not forgot about the humans either. If we were not in front of the fire we’d be in around the large kitchen table where we can come together and enjoy our evenings as a family. (And not forgetting our welcome pack too which again, thank you - we're converts to Bara Brith).
All in all we had an amazing time away. The weather wasn’t always perfect, but staying in the cottage more than made up for this. If you have 1 dog or multiple dogs, this is the perfect place for you to come and unwind with your pets.
