Experience - The Area...

Located just on the edge of Wadebridge town overlooking the town park and tennis courts is Truffle Cottage, a tastefully presented, cosy and very charming two bedroom terraced cottage.

Just a couple of minutes walk into Wadebridge town going on foot across the popular park or via the lovely 15th century arched bridge over the Camel river, Truffle Cottage is conveniently located for eating out without the need for wheels whilst also being in the perfect position for accessing other must see areas in and around Wadebridge, North Cornwall and Cornwall as a whole.

A selection of quality pubs and restaurants are all within just a few minutes walk and the beaches at Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath are within a fifteen minute drive. Wadebridge itself boasts a selection of independently owned shops and eateries on its pedestrianised high street as well as a two screen cinema and selection of supermarkets on the edge of town for your convenience. The town and surrounding areas which includes the Camel cycle trail to Padstow and Bodmin provides a wealth of lovely walks for all the family including the four legged family member!

The town of Padstow with its beautiful harbour and wealth of top class eating establishments is within a twenty minute drive of Wadebridge. The exceptionally pretty village of Port Isaac which is best known for its connections with the television series Doc Martin, is again just a twenty minute drive away from Truffle Cottage.

Stay - The Accommodation...

Located on Egloshayle Road in Wadebridge there is normally plenty of parking available on the road itself. The Council owned car park opposite Truffle Cottage (located behind the bowling green) is free to park of a week day evening and at weekends with charges only applying through the week between 9 and 5 pm.

A terraced, lawn and patio back garden (accessed by steps and not fully enclosed) belongs to the property and comes complete with garden furniture.

Inside you will find a beautifully presented property with great emphasis on comfort apparent throughout.

To the ground floor is the living space with open plan kitchen and dining area courtesy of a large breakfast bar with stools.  There is a step up into the well equipped kitchen from the living room with a back door leading outside to the laundry room and garden.

Carpeted (reasonably steep) stairs lead up to the two bedrooms and family shower room WC. A pretty and good sized double bedroom to the front overlooks the park and beyond with the second bedroom to the rear providing a full size 3ft single bed and pull out truckle bed (2'6). Both bedrooms are carpeted and provide ample hanging and drawer space between them.

The property is efficently heated throughout by gas central heating.
