The Woodland Collection consists of 4 very dog friendly contemporary cottages, with 3 en-suite bedrooms (sleeps 6 ) taking up to 4 dogs per house. The cottages are set in 36 acres of beautiful wild-flower meadows and woodland, with a stream and ponds for Nature to thrive here too. We are lucky to have amazing far reaching views across the wild flower meadows towards St Ives in the distance and Godolphin National Trust estate in the other direction. We are only ten mins drive from LOTS of all-year-round dog friendly beaches, situated between Hayle, St Ives and St Michaels Mount.
Our Dog friendly facilities are second to none in the Country, and we won the GOLD award for the Most Dog Friendly business in Cornwall 2022/23 from Cornwall Tourist Board awards, and the GOLD award from the Internationally recognised Green Tourism Industry in 2024 for being eco friendly too! We have a TWO fenced 2m high exercise fields, one can be booked online for exclusive access with permanent fixture agility equipment for doggie playtime and enrichment. There are further tracks and paths through the wild-flower meadows and fairy woods for off lead walks too. There are no farm animals nearby. There are warm outdoor showers in each enclosed garden (fence is 1.5m high), and a doggie treat box in each cottage. Dogs may go on the sofas as they are wipe clean leather, and the floors downstairs are easy to clean too. There is a stairgate that can be pulled across the stairs although they are allowed everywhere, you wont want them upstairs when wet. Large and Medium crates are available to borrow for free. Exempted dogs under the DD Act will need to keep their muzzles on whilst in the gardens and fields and are must be kept under their owners close supervision at all times.
The cottages are decorated throughout to a high standard and well equipped like home from home. The Kitchen has granite worktops with a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave as well as a ceramic hob, oven and grill. There is a BBQ on each patio.
The Big Green Shed Bistro and Wine Bar is highly acclaimed and located a short walk away in a neighbouring field run by award winning chef Ben Prior.

Open Wednesday to Sunday 9am to 4pm, for Breakfast, Lunch, cream teas and cakes or just a glass of wine, Ben can also be booked for a special celebration/event or birthday too for dinner.
Short breaks of 3 nights or more are available most of the year except July and August when the minimum booking is a week.
We do get booked up in advance quite quickly, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

I've stayed here 7 times now. It is absolutely perfect for pooches. Every single detail to make a stay with dogs easier such as outdoor shower, fully enclosed garden and even spare food bowls. As well as so many beaches within a 15 minute drive

We visited with our Labrador in July 2020 and noticed that as well as having a great time ourselves, our dog Honey really enjoyed her time in Cornwall at the Woodland Collection as everything was geared to both her and our feeling of security and well being. The walking in the beautiful grounds and around the property, the gates and enclosed places were perfect for our needs with Honey. The owners were familiar and natural with dogs themselves so no stress was induced about one’s dog being in any way a nuisance.
