Experience - The Area...

Just over five miles from Falmouth with its long maritime history, sandy beaches and bustling harbour, this lovely Cornish stone former dairy has been sympathetically converted into stylish and comfortable accommodation for two.

Located just on the outskirts of Herniss, this super property can boast easy access also to the Helford River and the Roseland and Lizard Peninsulas.

Stithians Lake, 3.5 miles away, has watersports facilities, bird watching, fly fishing and pub with lakeside restaurant. The glorious gardens of Trebah, Glendurgan and Penjerrick are within a 15 minute drive.  The village of Rame, half a mile, has a post office store and pub (which does a great carvery), and there are supermarkets at both Falmouth and Helston, a 10 minute drive respectively. 

Stay - The Accommodation...

Accessed from the parking area to the front, one step leads up to the front door and a further small step leads up from the front door into the open plan kitchen and living room. A stylish shaker, oak built kitchen is to your left with ample storage and work surface space. A two ring ceramic hob, counter top electric oven and separate microwave have been provided along with a small fridge/freezer. Two steps lead up to the pretty raised dining area with wooden balustrading. To the far side of the dining area is the cosy living space with carpeting and comfy easy seating.

Off the living room is a good size carpeted double bedroom with attractive brass bedstead. A single wardrobe with ample drawer space and door hooks is provided. The spacious shower WC ensuite has an oversized shower cubicle (one deep step up) and basin with storage provision for toiletries.

The property is efficiently heated by electric heating.

Outside to the front is a shared (with owner) gated entrance on a gravel surface. The Old Dairy has dedicated private parking for two cars and its own garden area with furniture provided. The gravel area immediately to the front of the property has a picket fence enclosing it so that your dog can go in and out of the property freely with no problem. The remaining garden area is mainly laid with gravel and a small area of lawn with shrubs and is partially enclosed.
