With the Erewash Valley Trail on our doorstep you can explore and discover the area that inspired D H Lawrence. The Grooms Lodge is the perfect base for a weekend away, we are approx half hour drive from Nottingham City or Matlock and 45 minutes from the famous Chatsworth Estate in the Peak District.

The Grooms Lodge offers guests an open plan living space with beautiful beams and underfloor heating. The stylish kitchen blends in seamlessly with the comfortable, cosy living area which has a sofa to relax on and where you can watch your favourite TV programme after a day exploring. You will also find a double bedroom and a modern shower room with walk-in shower. Outside is your own little haven with a garden for your dog and a patio area with seating so that you can unwind and enjoy the evenings.

the lodge is beautiful ,garden safely wired with a lawn and outdoor seating
walks along the canal or fields give you plenty to enjoy and if you like nature lots of wildlife, towns nearby and near to touist attractions in derbyshire.
